I was watching through the extras on the Heroes S1 DVD, and took some screencaps to entertain Alicia, and by proxy, myself.

Bla bla bla…

You know. I try not to talk with people who think FF12’s story sucked. I understand why they would think that, since the story was a lot… easier to miss than in other FF games, and so on and so on, but I actually liked that, and… no wait, the thing is, I think, that I liked the game as a whole, and feel no need to hack it into pieces and grade it in categories “story”, “graphics”, “characters”, “gameplay” and the like. IT BE PERFECT THE WAY IT IS, OK.

And anybody who asks the question “What twins?” has no right to complain abou FF12’s story, anyway.

Besides. Argueing about whether FF8, FF9, FF10 or FF12 has the better story is kind of like argueing whether Romeo and Juliet, the  Ilias, Fight Club or Pirates of the Caribbean has the better story. =_= They are all different stories with different ideas and contexts and aims and whuteva. WHY COMPARE!?

But now I am a little sad because FF12 was so awesome in that regard, it really satiated my twin brother kink. Really. Satiated. Like, it was gone afterwards, the kink. No pair of brothers has managed to impress me since. That’s SCARY. I mean, the Petrelli boys did try, didn’t they.

Hm hm hmmm…. Chompson!

I submitted a secret to /fandomsecrets. You’ll know it when you see it, I am sure.

What I really want to do is make macros to promote my new crack pairing, Chompson. Yes, the whole point is coming up with the silliest pairing name possible. Why do you ask? The problem is, of course, that Chandra and Thompson shared no scenes, and they are both dead.
So I see two possibilities:
1. A conversation over the phone.
2. Thompson dies and goes to heaven. Or to whereever the creepy old men go. He meets Chandra!
3. More complex version of #2: Thompson dies and there’s a courtroom trial to determine whether he gets to heaven or to hell. Chandra has found a job as judge, and eventually allows Thompson to go to heaven when he hears he died trying to protect his son. Witnesses include only dead people, of course: Linderman, Ted, Candice and very briefly HRG – he unexpectedly gets called back again. For most of the trial, things don’t look so good for Thompson.

In other “news”:

I bet it has to do with Joe Pokaski.

Blogging while virus scanner is running…

I have not had very many visitors come from search engines, but the search terms do amuse me nontheless.
Obviously, most people who come here are looking for Mohinder or Sendhil. Someone wanted to know about Jack Coleman instead, and must have been disappointed by the content of this blog. I apologize.

One visitor was interested in “Mohinder Suresh voice over”. I have been thinking about writing something about the voice-overs for the longest time. I really should get around to it over the weekend or so.

Most visitors, however, were interested in Mohinder’s clothes. Pieces of Momo’s outfit that were specifically searched for are the bag and the Freedom is Natural Nirvana shirt in episode 1×06.

One person came looking for Sylar’s outfit instead.

And another for Chandra’s outfit.

… which made me giggle.

The Heroes graphic novels have now started a story arch about the Company, and according to an interview with Chuck Kim, some of the characters introduced there may appear in the third season of Heroes. So far, there are only two new characters, a woman I don’t care much about, and a Thompson Jr.

A son of Mr. Creepy Lips would be interesting. I’d like that. (Alicia is more specific and also demands that he be called Jeffrey.)

And now I wonder if that ties back to the rumour of Christian Camargo (last seen killing stuff on Dexter) joining Heroes, that was floating around the internet last October. It’d be nice, because he sort of looks right. Yeah. Hmm.

Lame post is lame, but… Thompson!!

I think I’m still pro-Company. I finally want them to be good guys. But wait. With more Thompsons, the Company couldn’t ever turn good. What to do!

Now they tell me that this summer, there will be Sendhil Ramamurthy and Malcolm McDowell in… London.

I’m downloading the cutscenes of Final Fantasy XII, the game that I love so much. It has my favourite videogame character of all time in it, Basch. This is just a picspam with commentary. Because I’m a stupid fangirl.

I think I have just come to love characters who… do what they think is right, stubbornly, even if life deals them one blow after another, they will never receive the proper thanks, and everybody else would just have walked away long ago…
