I soent some time in the library, and somehow, I can never escape Bob. For example, I was randomly opening a page of a book on Anthony Burgess, and came across a summary of one of his novels, “The Doctor Is Sick.”

[17:24] Annakaeli: “A mad-eyed mobster named Bob, attracted by his apparant “kinkiness” on the assumption it betokens some basic perversion, captures him in a phone booth.

Hea also readily divines the real nature of Bob’s “kinkiness” – a masochistic passion for flegallation. … [Bob] forces [Mohinder] to lash him with one of the whips from his large and varied collection. To his utter disgust, [Mohinder] feels “the joy of the sadist arising in his loins” and he gives Bob a flogging that gratifies him thoroughly.

[17:30] Annakaeli: Then he is saved by… “the arrival of another mobster, one of Bob’s colleagues in the business of selling smuggled watches”

[17:34] Annakaeli: The book is titled “The Doctor Is Sick”, coincidently

That was a strange conversation to be having in the library, and it got even worse.
